THRIFT Armeria macloviana

Falkland 'Sea Pink'. Common around most Falklands coasts above the high water mark, especially on rocky and sandy shorelines. Thrift grows up to 15cm (5.9 inches) high, pink flowers appearing December to January.
Native and widespread. A. macloviana is also found on neighbouring Fuegia, Patagonia.
